Lingua portucalense-

Hello, everybody!
I saw the sentence "lingua latina bona est" and I want to write the same, but changing "Latina" for the Latin word corresponding to "Portuguese". I know that in Latin is portucalense-, but I'm having a hard time with the gender. Can anyone help me? Thanks in advance!
