c.r. cursor stenralis (or steuralis?)

Hello,

I am trying to translate the above words which I found on a baptismal record from 1891. The record comes from a Roman Catholic Church in the town of Pula, Croatia. I believe it is the father's occupation. I understand that cursor can mean "runner", "messenger" or "carrier", but have no clue what the word "stenralis" (or steuralis) means. Any help with this will be greatly appreciated.
